VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Orko Silver Corp. ("Orko") -- (TSX.V - OK) announces that it has signed an agreement with Silver Standard Resources Inc. to acquire a 100% interest in the San Juan Property located immediately west of Orko Silver's La Preciosa project.

The terms of the agreement provides for the transfer of the remaining 25% interest not currently controlled by Orko Silver for the lump sum purchase price of US $250,000, such sum to be paid by the issuance of Orko Silver capital stock, each share having an attributed value of CA $1.03. The agreement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange, and the issued shares will be subject to a four month plus one day resale restriction under applicable securities laws in Canada and any other resale restrictions that may be imposed by the TSX Venture Exchange.

Gary Cope, President of Orko, states that "We are extremely pleased to have reached this agreement with Silver Standard to enhance and consolidate our property holding immediately west of La Preciosa. We believe that this acquisition will be of great benefit to Orko Silver shareholders".

Von seinem Erfolg auf La Preciosa ermutigt, bohrt das Unternehmen weiter mit 4 Diamantbohrgeräten 24 h pro Tag und 7 Tage die Woche.

Die 5. Ressourcenschätzung des Unternehmens basierte nur auf 156 von 220 bis dato gebohrten Löchern. Orko wird einen konstanten Fluss an Nachrichten mit Probenergebnissen der schon gebohrten Löcher veröffentlichen sowie auch über das laufende Bohrprogramm, darunter die Folgearbeiten an der entdeckten Martha Ader, berichten. Die Martha Ader hat zur aktuellen Ressourcenschätzung wesentlich beigetragen.

Eine neue Ressourcenschätzung wird für das 3. Quartal 2008 erwartet.

Orko Silver Corp. exploriert auch seine Santa Monica und San Juan Projekte. Beide Projekte liegen angrenzend zu La Preciosa und haben beeindruckende geologische Charakteristika. Es besteht exzellentes Potential, dass sie ähnliche epithermale Systeme wie auf La Preciosa beherbergen.

The San Juan property is 24,580 hectares and is located North-West from La Preciosa Project. The company has an option agreement with Silver Standard Resources Inc. (NASDAQ: SSRI) to earn a 75% interest, by expending US$750,000 on exploration. Thus far, three silver-gold epithermal veins have been located; La Plomosa, El Vaquero and San Juan veins are known to outcrop on this property.

Objective

To locate a similar vein system like Abundancia, La Gloria and Martha on the La Preciosa Project.
